OW2 Chameleon

The akquinet solution to assemble OSGi applications

We’re pleased to announce the graduation of the OW2 Chameleon project to the mature state. The project was launched by akquinet in 2009 and has been used successfully in numerous projects.

The goal of Chameleon is to provide a flexible way to build OSGi applications. The resulting runtimes are like chameleon colors: fitting into the environment. Chameleon is based on OSGi to enforce the modularity of the application, but especially focuses on the service interactions in order to build applications by assembling loosely coupled components.

If you’d like to know more, read this article (http://blog.akquinet.de/2011/04/11/spotlight-on-ow2-chameleon/) or visit the OW2 Chameleon web page (http://chameleon.ow2.org).
