A single unauthorized access to sensitive areas of SAP software can cause immediate damage amounting to millions of dollars. Proper authorization management and monitoring are therefore critical for your business. With its SAST GRC Suite, akquinet AG offers a comprehensive and highly-developed system for governance, risk and compliance for complex SAP infrastructures. The company has now enhanced its application for mobile devices and presented its new "SAST Mobile Protect" app at the IT security fair it-sa in Nuremberg from October 6 - 8, 2015 (hall 12, stand 556).

SAST GRC Suite from akquinet AG offers company-wide yet modular access governance for SAP landscapes. It is directly integrated in the SAP system and offers all the necessary basic functions as well as various additional services. Users can now use the new SAST Mobile Protect app in their day-to-day work while on the go to ensure complete real-time monitoring. It is intuitive to operate and provides immediate information about critical incidents, regardless of whether you are in a meeting, in your home office, or on a business trip.

If the SAP_ALL profile is assigned to a user, for example, the system immediately raises the alarm. On the mobile device, the user can view details about the event and initiate countermeasures immediately, for example, by locking the user and calling the manager directly from the app. The app user can access an overview of the entire SAP security status at the touch of a button and track the logs of all events and the actions derived from them. The app is available for Android and Apple.

At the it-sa from October 6 – 8, 2015 in Nuremberg, akquinet presented the SAST GRC Suite and the SAST Mobile Protect app in hall 12, stand 556. Ralf Kempf, CEO of akquinet AG, also presented an SAP 2015 live hack: October 6, 2015, 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. at Forum Blau, hall 12, stand 750.
